HBSA Events

The Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) at Texas State University hosts a variety of impactful events throughout the year, including our highly anticipated annual banquet. Our events focus on four main areas: professional development, networking, volunteerism, and fundraising.

Professional Development

These events offer students resources and training to enhance their professional skills, including workshops on resume building, interview techniques, and leadership. Professional development events are designed to equip members with tools to excel in the business world.

Networking Socials

Our networking events focus on relationship-building to cultivate strong, lifelong connections within the HBSA familia. These gatherings foster a supportive network among members, alumni, and industry professionals, allowing students to establish meaningful, lasting bonds.

Volunteer Events

Community service is central to HBSA’s mission. Our members participate in local volunteer opportunities, supporting causes that uplift and empower the communities around Texas State University, while gaining valuable experience through service.

Fundraising Events

To support our activities and initiatives, we organize various fundraising events, such as profit shares, taco sales, and bake sales on campus. These events allow members to engage with the campus community, promote HBSA, and fund opportunities for all members.
