In November of 2025, 4 officers of the HBSA executive board, along with faculty advisor Dr. Seth Frei, visit with local Latino entrepreneurs in the city of Las Vegas to begin mapping out the roadmap for the 2026 Las Vegas Corporate Trip! The trip featured a visit to the National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA) Conference, a site visit to Launchpad Business Development Marketing Agency, and the cultural enrichment of the city of Las Vegas! In September of 2025, HBSA partnered with First National Bank of Bastrop to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. The event featured the presentation of a $5,000 donation from President & CEO Stephen Lee, officially launching a new collaboration with one of the largest student organizations in the McCoy College of Business. Members connected with bank representatives, discussed future opportunities, and reflected on the importance of corporate partnerships in supporting student leadership and professional growth. This celebration not only marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month but also highlighted HBSA’s commitment to bridging students with the business community through meaningful partnerships.

In September of 2024, HBSA members traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Hispanic Heritage Awards. The trip began with a Hispanic Identity Charla and leadership training at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation office, followed by volunteering at the Kennedy Center before attending the ceremony honoring leaders in the Hispanic community. Members also explored D.C.’s landmarks and museums, with group meals and reflections that made the experience both culturally enriching and professionally impactful.
